Pre-approval Layers available in Route Planner (User: All)

New layers are now available to view in the NHVR Portal.

1.Open Route Planner and navigate to the Layers Tab.

2.Use the checkbox to select the layer you wish to display on the map.

3.New layers available include:

• Class 1 Pre-Approvals
• Class 2 Pre-Approvals
• Class 3 Pre-Approvals
• HML Pre-Approvals
• PBS Pre-Approvals

Viewing the layers will assist you in mapping your route when applying for a heavy vehicle permit.

Linking Registration records (User: Road Manager)

After a vehicle inspection, all State and Territory jurisdictions are able to add vehicle information against a registration record for example:

• axle group
• axle details
• mass & dimension.

This will ‘lock’ the vehicle component and reduce the need for Road Managers to further validate the vehicle configuration.

In next month’s release, the registration records will be linked for customers to use. This will pre-populate vehicle details, saving time  when applying for a permit.
