Naming conventions for Permit Applications

Setting up consistent naming conventions can make it easier for you and your team to find applications in the future. The reference or permit name field has a 120 character limit in total.

In the table, the Application Nickname may be truncated depending on your screen size. View the full title by rolling over the text.

Use the trip detail in your nickname/ description as the permit class, type and period are already displayed.

Example: Trip detail – internal trip reference – version number

Bris-Syd- Mel_Trip Ref 10554_ v2 (this example uses 33 characters)
