Customer Module:

  • Adding vehicle details when renewing or amending permits

You will now be required to add your vehicle details when renewing or amending your permit. This will assist in the efficient processing of your renewal or amendment.

For permits issued by NHVR after 25th September 2017, the vehicle and route details will have already been captured in the Portal. In the Application Tracker, the Portal will automatically Find & Match the permit details when you enter the Permit ID.  Otherwise you can renew or amend the permit directly from the Permit Library.


  • Updating route details on renewed permit

For permits issued by a State or Territory jurisdiction on or before 25th September 2017, the route details will also need to be included on the permit renewal application. NHVR will assist you by completing the route information on your behalf for an interim period.
