Answer: 

If more than one route or area is required for a permit, an additional application should be submitted.  Amendment applications may be submitted thereafter for each subsequent route or area.  

When applying for an area, operators are required to enter the relevant road manager name in the NHVR Portal. 

If you do not know the road manager’s name you will need to turn on the boundary layer and then click within the road manager boundary.  A pop up will be displayed showing the road manager’s details.

You may then select the roads you wish to apply for.  If you select a road that is not managed by the selected road manager, the road will appear black on the maps and will not be included in the application assessment (refer Example).
