ACCREDITATIONNEW PASSWORD POLICY – new format for passwords to improve your account security
What is changing?
The NHVR Portal will require new passwords to be more complex, to improve the security for user accounts.
The new password format will be:
- Greater than 10 characters
- Contain 1 lowercase character
- 1 upper case character
- 1 number
- 1 character from special characters
(such as !@#$%^&*()_+/.,;:)
Also a number of common phrases will be excluded, such as ‘password123’.
If your new password doesn’t meet the required format, you will receive an error message.

REGISTRATION MODULE - Improvements to the 'Registration Lookup' functionality (User: All)
Registration records are now searched based on two fields of information; Vehicle ID and Registration Account ID. This will make sure that registration records for a vehicle are correct even if the vehicle has had a recent change of ownership (being bought or sold).
ACCESS MODULE - Bug fix on Consent status when re-generate consent (User: Road Manager)
An issue was reported last week when re-generating consents after a road or route has been updated during the approvals process.
In some cases the NHVR Portal was automatically sending the applications to the NHVR instead of the Road Manager and assigning the incorrect status to the case. These cases have been identified and the issue is resolved by the technical update in this release.IMPROVEMENTS & BUG FIXES
