KEY CHANGES AND BENEFITS:
ACCESS
Customer: Qld TMR permit renewals – in light of permits requiring to be specific to a vehicle configuration, Qld TMR issued permits could cover several vehicle configurations in the one permit. So, as customers submit applications to renew these permits they will rapidly see the generation of permits - one per vehicle configuration on the TMR issued permit.
Road Manager: Qld TMR permit renewals – the NHVR Portal requires permits to be specific to a vehicle configuration. Qld TMR issued permits could cover several vehicle configurations in the one permit. Qld TMR as the Road Authority and other Qld Local Government Road Managers will begin to see individual consents for each vehicle configuration coming from the NHVR Portal.
Note: The above process has already been implemented, this is the automated feature of the process.
ACCREDITATION
Customers:
NHVAS Auditors prevented from submitting applications - To help keep NHVAS auditors within the NHVAS business rules the Portal will now restrict them from being able to submit applications on behalf of operators. NHVAS auditors will however, be able to assist drafting applications.
VEHICLE STANDARDS
Customers: Final approval PDF automatically displayed in IPS and Exemption cases – this benefits customers by being able to immediately view the final PDF approval in the NHVR Portal when clicking on the email notification link.
Road Authorities: Addition of a draft approval view in IPS and Exemption cases – this benefits Road Authorities by being able to view automatically displayed draft pdf approvals in the Road Manager case view.
